Media is the county seat of Delaware County which is on the southwestern border of Philadelphia. The Lions play in The Central Athletic League which contains teams from Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. The teams in the Central League are: Conestoga, Haverford, Lower Merion, Marple-Newtown, Penncrest, Radnor, Ridley, Springfield, Strath Haven, and Upper Darby. The Lions are coached by Steve Mescanti who has completed his fourteenth season at the helm. Coach Mescanti is assisted by Tom Pacenza and Stefan Dashkiwsky. |
